The Story

1970S

AAM (Artigiani Associati Maletti) was founded in the 1970s from an intuition of Guerrino Maletti, with the goal of creating exclusive lines of hair salon furniture while maintaining affordable prices. The company gradually specialized in the production of washes and infrared lamps.

In 1998, following the merger with the historic Gemelli Gualtieri, which was acquired by the Group, the new BeautyStar brand was presented at Cosmoprof in Bologna, and its stand in the prestige.

YEARS'00

In the 2000s, thanks to prestigious collaborations with internationally renowned designers, iconic collections were born, such as GOLDART signed by Christophe Pillet, characterized by an elegantly essential style. Other notable creations include SPECCHI COLLECTION by Claudio Silvestrin, with sinuous lines and luminous materials where white predominates, and JAMES by Angelo Dall'Aglio, which offers unique solutions. Massimo Magrini contributes CUBE, MODO and DSPLAY, collections that express a high-impact furnishing style under the banner of innovation and beauty.

The company has always been committed to researching technical, production and commercial innovations and solutions, which have enabled it to produce complements and furniture products in Italy while maintaining excellent value for money.

In 2019, the New York New York collection was born, conceived to combine eye-catching design and a selection of materials with low environmental impact. An insight that anticipates new trends, inspired by the glamorous style of New York, while fully respecting the principles of modern sustainability.
